    - Wow the special grandparents in your life with a printable coupon book Grandparents Day gift. Free, cute, and easy to make - it doesn't get better! Kate has always adored her grandpa's storytelling - but lately he's been repeating the same stories again and again. One day, he even forgets Kate's name. Her mother's patient explanations open Kate's eyes to what so many of the elderly must confront: Alzheimer's disease and other forms of memory loss. Determined to support her grandfather, Kate explores ways to help him 5/5(1).

Book of disturing short stories that I want to re-read. Two I remember: "Perfect"-looking woman joins a women's group, they think she's making fun of them and is not really a woman. It ends with them making her get up on a table and they all start trying to find out if she's "real." Another is a woman whose brother comes to visit. I was going through my grandpas old sketch book when I came across a sketch of a barn and it threw me back in time when he was still alive and it made me realize that are lives here on earth really are short and we really do need to make the most of them and do what we can here while we are still here before we go up above.

Great kids book that Jay did a super job on. Read it to my youngest at least once a week. My oldest has a small library in her bed (I dunno, but I'm not going to discourage it) and it's always there. She has two other book cases stuffed full but her favorites stay close while she catches her zzz's.   After all, we were not only going to the White House, but we had a 10 a.m. train back to New York, and you always dressed for travel. We arrived upstairs at the White House and, when the elevator door slid open, I remember being nonplussed—and a little put out—that the Johnsons apparently had not had to go through the same morning rigmarole.

Parents need to know that, as the title hints, Grandpa's Great Escape is best-selling British author David Walliams' homage not just to the love between a year-old boy and his grandfather, once an RAF flying ace but now suffering from dementia, but to the entire genre of WWII prisoner-of-war sagas, especially The Great Escape.
