Elliot Mills comes face-to-face with evil in this follow-up to Fair Game and Fair Play from bestselling author Josh Lanyon One final game of cat and mouse Ex–FBI agent Elliot Mills thought he was done with the most brutal case of his career. The Sculptor, the serial killer he spent years hunting, is finally in jail.   In Giving Kids a Fair Chance, Nobel Prize-winning economist James Heckman argues that the accident of birth is the greatest source of inequality in America today. Children born into disadvantage are, by the time they start kindergarten, already at risk of dropping out of school, teen pregnancy, crime, and a lifetime of low-wage work/5.

"Fair Chance is a wonderful example of a romantic, crime novel and the All's Fair trilogy makes an entertaining, seamless, epic story." - All About Romance "I became so invested in the characters that I'm tempted to go back and catch up - and that's all down to Lanyon's compelling writing and strong characterization." - RT Book Reviews/5(86).

Fair Chance is the third and last book in All's Fair series by Josh Lanyon. All the books should be read in order for a better understanding of the story and characters' background.

Josh Lanyon was a new author for me and I'm sorry to say it took me a while to get used to her writing style. I couldn't quite connect to the characters in Fair Game/5.

All the way through All's Fair it felt like I missed the first instalment. Enough back story is given about Eliot's previous FBI career, and his and Tucker's past, and the Sculptor, and Fair Chance does kind of take all of that full circle, but still/5(67).

If you like this book (mystery, snarky humor, mm romance), I also recommend All other Josh Lanyon books and short stories. Fair Chance is consistent with the best of these (e.g., Fatal Shadows, Mermaid Murders, Stranger on the Shore, The Ghost Wore Yellow Socks).
